Title got your attention didnt it?

I want to know about different variations of motorcycle runs-

such as-

poker run- where you get a card at each stop and best hand at the end wins something

cannonball run- illegal street race covering considerable distance

what are some other fun types of runs and the rules or guidelines for them?

interesting, most of the "runs" I've heard about are just charity events around here.

That's what runs are all about. The charity you ridin' for. I'f you walk away w a door prize...that's cool. But the whole deal is about the charity.

Check this site:
Lets-ride.com
They list 'runs' all over the world...
Another thing you can try is use your search and type in 'motorcycle events'. That should bring up a pretty extensive list of stuff to do on two wheels.
I have more access if anyone needs it. I have been Road Captian for a local; chapter of CMA for quite some time,a nd have filed up a bunch of sites.

Toy run - all the bikers bring a bunch of new toys to donate to santa's anonymous then ride all over the city in a planned route showing off their bikes, and the toys.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I think a Cannonball run would be fun. Also a good movie.
