They guarantee your bike back within 24 hrs. or a full refund of the system. A bike got stolen in NYC and was recovered in 8 hrs.
Is it worth it to you guys????
I think it depends on where you ride. If you live in a "dodgy" area (and stay in that area), maybe.CORSCO wrote:Is it worth it to you guys????
Yeah, it's not cheap. And it's not nationwide yet.Bx RedBull wrote:Yeah, I hear the entire system and installation can be killer. I got quoted in NYC that the LoJack itself is $595 and installation would be $195.
You and me both. I never park it where I can't see it.Me personally, I'm paranoid parking my bike for 20 minutes to get a haircut if I can't see it.
Wouldn't you get an insurance deduction based on that?Sure, I'm out $700 but I can rest easier at night knowing my $8,000 investment is secure when I'm not baby-sitting her.
Could/would you use the installed LoJack as a "selling point"?Only thing that sucks is if you ever get rid of the bike, you can't get keep the LoJack or switch it to a new bike since each LoJack system is linked to one specific VIN number for the police.
I do hear that certain insurance companies will give you a deduction if you have a LoJack installed.ShawnKing wrote:

Since theres no competition I guess they can pretty much set whatever price they want.CORSCO wrote:...... I think the total is around $700 with the 2 hour install time included. That labour charge is set by Lo-Jack, so no screaming at the dealers, please!
