Basically a guy was waiting to turn left, and started going, because he didin't see my in the right lane, because there was another car blocking his view or something. I saw him, and thought he saw me, so I kept going, as soon as I went past the car that was stopped and blocking the view, I saw he was going. I was going maybe 35 at this point, so I slammed on my brakes, he slammed on his and stopped, I was going fast enough that I couldn't completely stop, and hit him at maybe 15-20 mph. I rolled over the hood, an landed on my hands and knees, and had the presence of mind to crawl off the road. Someone called the police, and they showed up, and ended up charging the guy with failure to yield. The bike was actually not too bad, the front fender bent down, taking a gouge out of the tire, and the left turn signals got bent, and the left side body work cracked. But besides that it was pretty much ok. It was still running, so I ended up taking off the front fender and riding it the few miles home. Now I just want to lay in bed, because I'm all bruised, and can't put weight non my left leg.
Anyway, so the good thing is, it was his fault, so his insurance will cover eveything, and I should be able to actually get some stuff fixed that was messed up even before the accident.
