So with all the fuel topics going around I've noticed no one has started a what fuel do you use thread.

So everyone lets see what you use, whether it be type or brand specific. Lets throw in the price while were at it too and why do you use it.

I always use Premium (93 octane is the level I think) just because thats what my parents always use. At the momment 3.09 a gallon is the lowest I can find.

I use the lowest octane I can that doesn't knock. Err....actually I just use the middle grade at the moment for cleaning purposes.

MOM says 86 of higher.
Regular 87 in my tank.
Ive heard some people say their 599's run worse with high test.

yea, the bigger the number the harder to burn so your probably wasing fuel if you use 93 or higher unless you MOM says to. (lol)

i will probably try midgrade and see what it does but i may just ues cheap stuff. (i mean i will if i ever run the thing out of gas)

I throw in the 87 octane as well I was running 93 for a while, but didn't notice any benefits, so I went back to 87.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I only run 89 since it's the best of both worlds along with Motul fuel system cleaner banking on hope that it will reduce the chances of needing a carb synch/ cleaning.

There was a time I accidently added diesel fuel since all 4 mixtures used the same pump.

I use the lowest octane, cheapest stuff.

My dad put regular gasoline in his diesel box van once, and had to have it pumped out or something.

I caught my mistake before it reached .250 of a gallon so not much happened but it did smell funny for a bit. Smoke coming outta my bike would look cool being that the exhausts are on both sides of the bike.
