Tail bag sugestions?
Im lookign for a tail bag for my ninja 250. i dont want a huge one bcaue i probably wont cary too much stuff, but i would like somethign that will be easy to mount to the bike with those little cargo hooks. i'd like to be able to hold a change of clothes or a six pack of my favorite beverage (caffine free diet pepsi) and maybe some smaller pockets to put little stuff in. if you have a bag you really like, tell me about it.
heres a few i found:

http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=&L ... HEL_82-417 (this says magnetic but its a tail bag not a tank bag?)
http://street-bikes.ridegear.com/cgi-bi ... ?E+scstore (same as above but in colors)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXL-YELL ... QQtcZphoto (ebay find. not sure the yellow would be the right color to match the bike)
any other sugestions? thanks

I don't own one but, MotoPak GT-Tail looks good. The price is higher than the others you linked to but, I didn't read through them to see the size or "extras" that are included. Just looked at the pictures.

Ryan... it isn't a tail bag but check out the Icon Urban tank bag... available in a yellow that is a very close match to the yellow of your bike, and very handy... magnetic, doubles as a backpack and helmet carrier....
Yes, I own one...works fine, hopefully will last a long time.

Ride it like you think owning it matters.

I've had a tailpack blow out on me (The bungee hooks popped off of the cords) I believe it was a Nelson-Rigg pack. I would suggest getting something with buckles on it and not relying on bungee cords if you are going to be using the thing daily.

I have this one

Works good...small, but expands a LOT when needed. Plus can unzip from base and be carried as a backpack.

I had no idea what a tailbag was before reading this thread. I just use a normal sized backpack and run the shoulder straps around the seat. Since the buckles are under the seat, it can't be easily removed and the price can't be beat. (Yes, I'm a cheap b*****d
). If someone does manage to steal it, I'm only out a few bucks.
