something pretty cool

#1 Unread post by roscowgo »

was driving home from work yesterday, just kinda slouching down the interstate trying to stay awake, look over and notice a BUTTLOAD of high end sports cars.

3 or 4 vipers, a 2 lotuses, a cobra, etc.... all kindsa shiny tricked out stickered up ways to go fast on 4 wheels.

and beside all these cars.... heheh ...is a cop thats pulled over a chevette. at least 1 older model lamborghini too. wonder where they were goin....

A Chevette?! I actually saw a Chevette on the road a few months ago and couldn't believe what good shape it was in. I'm even more amazed that there are two Chevettes driving around out there (or maybe it was the same one).

Cheers,

Chevettes were great. You could swap out parts with other Chevettes for what seemed an eternity. The Dodge Horizon was the same way. Funny little cars...

Parts were always available, too. People would just abandon them wherever they stopped running, and other Chevette and Horizon owners could just cannibalize the hulks for parts. It's happening with old Subarus down in my part of the world these days.
