Here’s there problem, the bike is fine when your going along at 45 or faster, its when your going slow is when I have the problem. The other day I was riding it into the city and it started bucking or a hiccup as I’ve heard it called before, when I had a steady throttle on it. It felt as if you were just giving it gas real quick and then let off, and then keep doing it. Again it only did this when I was going slow, it even stalled on me a couple of times when I was coming to a stop. When I got home on the back roads I went slow again as if I were in the city and I didn’t have a problem with it. A little bit about the bike it's a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R600 with 5,600 miles on it. If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Did the bike sit for any amount of time without running?

I just picked it up about 3 weeks ago, and the guy who had it before me had it in his garage all winter. So it sat all winter, but since I’ve had it I been riding it as much as I can

I don't know much about maintenance but it sounds like you've got a problem with your fuel injection. And since it was sitting, if it wasn't properly stored, the gas that was left in it could gum up some parts...probably just needs a good tune up and you'll be good to go.

Sounds like clogged fuel injectors to me.

I don't normally recomend snake oil solutions, but there is this stuff called "Sea Foam" that you can get at _good_ auto parts stores. You might have to call around a bit, but this stuff is amazing at degumming fuel systems. The other stuff like Techron and the no-name stuff aren't nearly as effective. One bottle will treat 2-3 tanks, and I would try this before resorting to more expensive measures.
