Any opinions/reviews on best, loudest pipes?
Hey gang-------Sorry if anybody's read this one on the other forums. I just started riding a couple of years ago. I'm on my 2nd bike----a V Star 1100 Classic. Lost my job last year, & while I'm building my new business venture I can't afford to upgrade my bike, but I can upgrade the pipes. Last year I bought a set of Cobra Lo-Boy Staggered from somebody who thought they were too loud for her bike. Wouldn't have been my 1st choice, but for $100 I thought I'd give it a try. They're not bad, but I think I can do better. I want loud with that nice, deep, throaty rumble-----I guess, as close to that "nasty" Harley-type loud as I can get from a V Star 1100. I think it's a personal preference which "loud" that somebody wants, so I thought I'd start going to dealers on nice Saturday mornings & start listening to other bikes as they roll in.
I'm thinking about Bub Big Willy or a Samson. Any opinions on the sound and/or quality (or lack thereof) of either of them? Or, has anybody heard anything else they liked on a V Star 1100? Vance & Hines doesn't make a full-system for the V Star 1100, and I want a full-system. My preferences, #1 LOUD, #2 performance! When I go out, I go for a ride, not for a race, if you know what I mean! Thanks.

Cobra and Vance&Hinser both make really nice pipes for your bike.
I really like the stock V-stars pipes though.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
