I'm intrgued if its because ours is a hardtail trike or because it is a CX.

Does it vibrate so much that the indicators and mirrors undo themselves at 80mph?

and

Does the front wheel get air in it if you drop the clutch a bit sudden like at 9,000revs?

Cheers.

Mine never vibrated that much, but it did pop a wheelie once during a spirited upshift.

I wish I could help you, but I am a current newbie, and probably eternally cautious...

I don't think I've been above 55mph yet, and am careful/dainty with the clutch. Once I hit 1,000 miles of driving her (I'm in the mid-700s over the last six weeks) I am going to start taking short jaunts on the local superslabs. So maybe I can weigh in more on the vibrations then...

its probably because its a hardtail. My CX doesn't vibrate that much at 80mph.

I'm going to break out the rubber washers for the indicators and if I can find a way for them to make a difference the mirrors too.

I have a small issue with rain. Well the CX does. If the engine is wet (for some reason the lefthand channel for the sparkplug likes to fill with water) the CX will run like a dog all day, even when it has dried out.

If its dry I really, really can't complain but wet - well pulling off from the lights the revs will drop 2-3k when I release the clutch and it makes no odds how sharp or smooth I make that.
