feels weird to drive a cage now
so after 600 miles on the bike, now when i corner hard in my cage, i feel like im being thrown around a lot. i drive a dakota R/T with the super wide tires and some upgraded cross-drilled slotted brakes, and the better suspension, so i like to take curves at relitivly high speeds, but now i feel like the thing is gonna roll over, i wanna lean the truck to go faster. (like that mercedes concept)
anyone else notice that after you start riding, the cage feels weird?

I've been putting on miles like it's going out of style on my bike recently. When I get in my car, I have the strangest habit of leaning in my seat to the inside of the corner. Doesn't do a thing at all except make me look funny to people watching.

I do that too! I just took a drive for the first time in about... 2 months, and I got in, sat down, looked at this wheel... and froze. I had no idea what to do with it.Skier wrote:I've been putting on miles like it's going out of style on my bike recently. Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Haha, I do the same thing Ryan. I don't even have a license to drive a car, only a permit, so I very, very rarely drive a car, and when I do, it's very odd feeling

i gotta be honest i am "not a real biker" according to some, i only ride when its nice out, and i have time to get geared up, and i know where im going, or have time to get lost. so i drive the cage more than the bike, but i love the bike for what it is, a toy for entertainment.

I can't freaking stand the cage - especially our New Beetle. The A-Pillar on that car is humongous and is constatnly in the line of sight in most left hand curves, Drives me nuts.
