I don't know Honda keeps bringing out the Helix, it's an old 1980's design from the looks of it, but to some riders, that's what they like as it does sell... Although I've never seen one in person.

to each their own I suppose.

I wonder if they think it's "retro"

Although when I think of retro, I think of bringing back something cool. :D

Not all bikes are out yet. Usually they do not release any Cruisers yet but I think since motorcycle sales are so good right now they are making exceptions.

Normally it goes like this:

Motocross/Dirt Bikes
Dual Sports

then

Scooters
Cruisers

then

Standards
Sportbikes (last)

Not all models are there yet, so they have LOTS of models up their sleeves still for 07.

I'm still waitng for the Honda Griffon-750 flat-four that was a "near future model" back in 2003.

From what I've heard Hondas major new releases are supposed to be on the sportbike/standard side. You can bet that a new 600RR is coming for 07. Maybe the 599 will finally pick up fuel injection. maybe the V5 powered sportbike will finally make an appearance.

wonder what kawasaki has up their sleeve for 07, maybe a ninja 450 to supplement the 650? 2000cc mean streak maybe?

rumor has it that yamaha is supposed to bring out a new R1 for 07

suzuki is supposed to bring out a new SV650 and possibly a redesigned Hayabusa.

I would just expect new colors/chrome pieces on most of HDs line, and maybe the softtail or FL bikes will pick up the 6 speed transmission. maybe hell will freeze over and HD finally puts FI on the sportsters

RE: "I was hoping to see the DN-01 on there..."

The DN-01 is going into production and will be available spring of 2007 in Japan and fall of 2007 in Europe. No word on the USA; speculation is that it might be available in 2008 or that it might not be imported at all.

Here is the confirmation:
