DOES ANYBODY HAVE INFORMATION ON 2007 HARLEYS

#1 Unread post by danial_1970 »

I am setting here in the lovely country of IRAQ and in the process of trying to get information on the 2007 Fat Boys which I am in the process of buying. Yes I know that it is not normal for someone to buy a bike without knowing some of the important information like tech data and so forth but I know that the bike I want and I am buying it. And no I am not one of these people out there that have never rode before. I have close to 25 plus years of riding experiance and now that I am able to afford the bike I have dreamed about for a long time I am gettting it. But like most of the soldiers here that are buying bikes we are unable to get tech data on the 07 Harley Models. If anybody could help it would be very much appriciated. Sorry my spelling sucks.

1st of all thanks for being over there for us. From your american riding brother!!!

ALL I could find at this moment is the specs for a 2006 Fat Boy...I would imagine...that not much is chaning? Except price. I am sure that the possibities could be a six speed tranny this year??? And maybe a bigger rear tire???

I figure the engine will stay the same but would like to know about the tranny and the rear tire. Thanks for the help so far. And thanks for your support those of us over here need it and appricate it.

The 2007 Harleys will be more or less the same as the 2006 Harleys, which will be the same as the 1995 Harleys, which will be the same as the 1970 Harleys... so on.

2007 Harleys

#7 Unread post by spoiler »

I heard Harley is coming out with a 1550cc motor with a 6 speed transmission for 2007. (6-speed was only available on Dynas in 06). It will be announced July 8th in Vegas, then to the public around the 15th. Guess we'll have to wait & see. May only be on the Electraglides though... Don't know if it will be available on the other tour bikes or the softails. I also heard there are several new colors too... pretty badass man. Imagine a Harley in a metallic crystal ice light-blue glacier type color or in a two-tone deep olive green & black... Awesome.

About the Kawasaki little...

When I read his stupid comments about all the Harleys being the same, at first I thought, what an idiot... Then I saw he has a Kawasaki... that explains everything... lol. He's even dumber than he looks in his picture.

spoiler....I don't think that helps things. He had to say something....he looks more like a fool than anything for what he said...? He left out quite a bit...lets see the 70's still had four speeds...leaked oil like water....and lets see 95 the evo motor...the best to date at that time for a v-twin...which helped HD turn it around. Then in 2006 standard 6 speeds on the DYNA platform...wide rear tires on some of the softtail platform.....

I'd say a lot has changed.....but of course I am a Harley guy. I could not speak for his metric bikes....so I don't even try. As he ages..hopefully will his attitude... :?

Well things are said by some of those who have the lack of knowledge as well as age and wisdom. When one is in there low twentys riding a Kawasaki 500 the first thing that comes to my mind is that he is young and cant afford a Harley. So instead of being one to like Harleys for what they are and wait till his day comes to where he can get his own; but no he sets there and mocks what he can't have. Plus I feel that he is scared of a Harley because the Smallest one one the market is a 883 and he can only handle a 500. HMMMMMMMMMM things the people say when they are young and oh say young.......

And that is what I got to say on that subject.
