JC Whitney Helmets

Anyone have experience with JCW helmets? Obviously we can't try them on but others have reported good experiences by using their sizing chart. They run about $80 and up and quite a bit cheaper than the dealer. Thanks.

I don't think I'd buy a helmet unless I could wear it for a little while, Jeff. Most bike dealers will let you do this so you can find the most comfortable model and size. Your head has a unique shape so there will inevitably be some models that you simply cannot get to fit right, no matter what size you try. Proper fit is the big thing not only for comfort but for safety, too. If it happens that the helmet that fits best is out of your price range, you can then shop at eBay or other online stores for that helmet and maybe save some $.
Let me get this straight... it's one down and four up, right?

Don't forget you usually get what you pay for in a helmet. Just how much is that head of yours worth anyway? That's a question you will have to answer when looking at CHEAP helmets. :banging:
