Man, it's been gloomy here in Colorado for the past few days. Lots of rain makes me sad. Have fun this weekend. :D

Lots of bikes out this morning (well, even more than usual). Got passed by a fully-geared squid this morning who was doing at least a buck-ten and splitting lanes. Glad he's around to make this a memorable Ride-to-Work Day for all the naysayers.

As for this weekend, tentative plans include a trip to West Virginia to ride Route-33 through the mountains (threads w/ pics to follow if it works out).

I think we're gonna be out of luck, it's been a total wash out with the rain and I don't think this weekend looks any better.

I thought Ride To Work day was in two Wednesdays (7/19)?

I dropped off my parents at the airport and I have to pass my job to get to the airport. I was planning on just going to work directly after the airport, but after I saw how many bikes were on the road I went back home (past my job again) and got the bike. I'm glad I did because it is beautiful out.

Lots of cops out today too. Not sure if it has anything to do with the bombings out in the UK last year. I heard on the news that the DC Metro system is on a higher than normal state of readiness.

EVERY day is ride to work day.

Anyway, forecast in my neck of the woods looks great; +29C tomorrow and +30C on Sunday. Gonna put another pile of km's on my bikes again this weekend. :righton:

The weather around here has been spectacular!! I managed to get in a couple of hours last night. It was chilly enough to wear my leather jacket. Sunny, low humidity - just beautiful. Ride on!

Cheers,
Loonette

I knew it was this month and saw the thread heading and thought that's what this was. I did see far more bikes this morning than usual, but I'm probably wrong. Anyway, like Gummi said, every day is ride-to-work day so.....
