Help Me Compare the 600's

Okay, ill start off with an interduction bcause some people who hang out here may not see my posts in all the other forums and may not know all about me.

I am 21, i just started ridign this year and i got a ninja 250. i like it but i have found a local motorcycle enthusiests forum and started doing a lot of group rides with some more experienced riders. i feel my skills are progressing quickly, i am glad i started on the 250 as it has saved my butt many times when i slam the throttle open or closed and other stupid crap that gets n00bs in trouble. i think next year i want to add a new pony to the stable though. i am lookign at 600 class bikes and i know they have different horsepower and different prices (thanks to dragonhawk, you the man) but what about general fit and function.

i do a lot of mountain riding so fuel injection would be nice. and im pretty tall 6'2" so seat heigh should not be a problem.

im lookign at-
Ninja 600 (and 636  )
CBR600F4i
sv 650
gixxer 600
ducati 999R (just kidding)
triumph 675
and any others that i have missed on my list here.

can anyone tell me which of these bikes would be best as far as all around price/comfort/use of power/etc.

but still wont kill me.

i know many will say to go from 20hp bike to a 110+ hp bike is too big a jump and i respect that, but i will almost definatly be gettign a 600 class bike so im more interested in getting one that will be a good all around bike. mostly local mountain roads such as the cherahola skyway and deals gap. (i know its not fair that i live so close to them)

if you own one or several of these bikes could you throw out the good the bad and the ugly about them and help me decide what i should be looking for when i do trade up. i love the way the ninjas look, but i know the gixxer is more popular? and i have heard the honda is less peaky and supposed to be good even as a first bike. (it would be my second)
im open to other bike sugestions as well.

thanks in advance.

just get the ZX-6R. i know you like it the most.

personally, i like the ZX-6RR since i heard the it has a better setup like gearing, etc. but the 636 is probably better fro the streets. notice it's a little bit more expensive than the 636.

anyway... just go for it if you can afford the maintenance, insurance, and payments.

you hit the nail on the head with insurance...

thats part of why it will probably be next year before i get a bigger bike. insurance companies hate 21 year olds.

BigChicken,
I am 6'3 230 and have a 2003 Yamaha R6. I love it. The only other 600 I have ridden was a CBR 600RR. I like how I fit on the R6 alot better. The torque is low on the R6 until you hit 8k or so...then after that you have a hard time hanging on. The Honda was nice too though. The maintenance on my Yami isn't all that hard either....Honda was easier to change the oil, etc...but you will pay a little more for it....after my R6 I will probably stick with Yamaha for awhile.

those are air cooled i believe. i would prefer liquid cooled as well as fuel injected.

Ha... so people were right... bored after two months! bwahahaha*cough*.... ;)

My next bike will def. have FI as well... well, anything can happen but it's high on my must have list. I'm looking in other directions (V-Stromish/BMW GSish directions) so I don't have much to add to your list though.

P.S. They say your current bike is jetted rich at the factory... that's rich at sea level... which means you don't get full performance ever and things go down hill as...ummm....as you go up hill.... anyway... a rejet to leaner jets is considered worthwhile. Just FYI.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.
