Could you have avoided this one?

Check out how the cager that caused the wreck shows oh so much concern (sarcastic) for the rider.

The girls that came to his aid were pretty cool but not a good way to pick up chicks.

At least he has the film to use in his lawsuit.

Nope, I would have rammed into that car too.

By the way, what was the guy in the car trying to do? Was it some sort of tuner stunt or something?

looks like he yanked the e-brake.

Probably the only way to avoid it would have been to be in a different lane, ie the far left lane.

My initial thought was that the mini van blew a tire, but after the posted comments I am not sure now. I have seen front tire blowouts do funky stuff like that.

About the first video, that must have been scary as hell. Anything coming from the left my instinct would have been cut right too, but it looks like it just put her in a car sandwich.

Regarding the first post...

No way anyone could have avoided that. It's speculation, but it looked like he yanked on the hand brake instead of slowing down using his foot brake. He was actually speeding up then all the sudden, he realized the traffic ahead of him was stopped. He over-reacted and did the absolute worst of all things by ganking on the hand brake. The front wheels didn't lock up at all, it was still rolling. It's impossible to not fishtail when you slam on the rear emergency brake like that.

Not sure what became of this from a court room perspective. A post said $25k for the motorcyclist and a year in jail for the cager.

Sure looked like a cell incident to me.

The fist vid... happened Feb. of this year...

Here's her website: http://www.smoothcurvesracing.com

AFAIK she got a check for $3500 from her insurance company (uninsured motorist coverage payout)...to "cover" the damage to her R1. :|

No charges against the driver. Just a ticket for driving without insurance.

Lawsuit hasn't started yet.
