Oh snap!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

nice p200. Some scooters can achieve some pretty intense lean angles.

I wave to everyone, and almost everyone waves back. While driving across the country the past few days, and over the next week, i've been keeping mental note of how many people wave back. So far, out of about 50 waves, everyone waved back except for two people, and i guy gave me the finger  . I guess he was angry about something...

Oh and, I waved to two bicyclists who where obviously touring because they both had large panniers. When we saw each other on a scenic empty road, and we all realized we were touring, we all waved.

i waved at another guy riding a Honda Helix (scooter) in a small town, and he stared at me for like 30 seconds, then slowly put his hand up and sheepishly waved. I think it might have been his first wave ever  .

I'm interested to see if there are going to be any areas of the country where i get significantly less/more waves. We'll see...

In my city, I've yet to see someone riding a scooter that isn't an 80 pound 14 year old with shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals on.
