WHAT'S THE STORY ON THE NEW HD ENGINES

LIKE LAST YEAR THEY WILL ALL BE RUBBER MOUNTED AND THIS YEAR 2007 A COUNTER BALANCE DEVICE WAS ADDED TO THE NEW ENGINES TO MINIMIZE VIBRATIONS ESPECIALLY AT IDEL.

I WAS TOLD BY BOTH A HD SALESMAN AND MECHANIC THAT THE DEVICE WILL BE ON ALL ENGINES - EXECPT - FOR THE DYNA MODELS.

WHY WOULD THIS BE TRUE? IT'S THE SAME ENGINE AND FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT HD WOULD OMIT THIS FEATURE FROM THE ENGINES FOR THE DYNA MODELS

I am no scientist, but it sounds like dual overhead cams kinda, isn't that sorta old hat?

We're talking about Harley here. People "poo poo" themselves when they moved to rubber mounted engines, remember?

You guys ever take apart a lawn mower engine? If you did do you see the way its designed with the valves mounted upside down in the cyl with little rods pushing up and down on the valves? The HD Engines are the same design. The HD Engine is just an oversize lawn mower engine.
