Comments on Turple Brothers service in Red Deer?

#1 Unread post by spiritusnoctem »

Hey, fellow Road Pilots.

Have any you ever dealt with those Turple guys in Red Deer? I don't even know if that's their correct name, but I've driven past their store a few times during my travels.

Are their accessories any good? Is it worth a drive from Calgary to visit them for gloves and helmets?

We purchased many bike/ ATC's and snowmobiles from them when I was growing up. We delt with the actual brothers (Rex and Glen)and they were very straight shooters. I'm pretty sure Rex has been gone for quite a while but Glen still has an office just off of the showroom and I think it has been passed along to sons at this time. There never was a nicer guy who was more into bikes than Glen. If he still has influence there I would still buy there (if I lived closer).

Thanx for the detailed response, Calgary!

I am now inclined to stop in next time I'm in Red Deer. Shall I say hi to Glen for you if I meet him?

Their parts counter and accessories/clothing counter have very good service.

I regularly pop in to check things out and occasionally actually buy something.
