Weird ordinance for North Port people. I'm not sure where it is but it's still dangerously close.

This one is an excerpt.

This one is with the police noting that this is a "mistake."

Nice.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

I wonder how much North Port pays this bozo attorney? If I was a taxpayer there, I'd be on a rampage...

I read over that and realized right off it was a motorcycle ban. I figured they were insane. Turns out they're just stupid. :?

I was guessing Florida but I had doubts since Florida is a biker state. North Port here in NY is getting more Harley riders...

"I'm so sick of this," said Gross, who originally brought the issue up last month to commissioners for consideration. "Motorcycles were tearing up areas on the east end of town too."

I like how it's always just motorcycles tearing up areas. I guess tuner cars are acceptable.

Quit being a twit. This was designed to ban off-road vehicles in certain areas, and was improperly worded to include street vehicles. Those areas were on the street (of course) and on public land.

I don't see many Civis running around on bicycle trails in the woods, do you?

Did you read both articles black? He actually said what was quoted above.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Yes, I know, and the guy in question was quite obviously talking about OFF ROAD VEHICLES tearing up public land. You're making the same exact mistake these people did by assuming he's talking about *ALL* bikes when it is quite obvious what is meant.
