Think I can get away with it

10 Days Old, 900 Miles and caught in 6 Storms.... Finally pulled over today at an underpass when I couldn't see anymore.... Met 2 cruiser guys, had a good chat for about 20 mins till the storm finally let up.... I love this bike... but I don't think Mother nature does... she is always messing with me...

And I like my reflectors... I'll probably take them off when the new fender/fairing arrives.

Nice pics. Yeah riding in the rain isn't that bad. I haven't ridden when it was bad enough that I had to pull over yet though.

If I were you, I would be looking for ways to make my bike "MORE" visible, not less. If you have to take off the reflectors, look for other ways to increase you bike's visibility when you put on the fairing

That's pretty rad that you met two bikers while waiting for the storm to pass. Now if only I could be that lucky if I ever have to pull off during rain. :)

Yeh Hardcore Cruiser guys are nuts   The 2 Guys I met were on a weekend trip from South Carolina... Both wearing Tshirts, Sunglasses and lids... I couldn't see anymore which is why I finally pulled over.... I rode for about 3 miles in that...

The first night I had her I went out to Bike night in Jersey about 30 miles from home... It wouldn't let up for 2 hours... So as soon as is lightened up a bit I rode... needless to say I got horribly soaked...

I pull over to put on my rain gear when I see a storm approaching. I think my rain gear keeps me from getting soaked because it's a rain deterrent. By the time I get my gear on, it quits raining.

You definatley want to make yourself more visible in that kinda rain. Maybe you could get one of those reflective vests. There's a company in Elgin called Conspicuity that makes some really nice highly reflective mesh vests. I have one and don it at night and when riding in the rain!
