Loonette had an idea of having some sort of larger TMW event. I got the idea of polling everyone here about an event of some sort for the midwest and even some of the east coast. How far would you be willing to ride for a rally? I would think if we had a lot of folks who were willing to travel we would do this in a park with camping available, but not too far from lodging for non-campers.
Let's just suppose an even was in Ohio or Indiana, would those of you not in those areas travel for such an event to meet with and ride with others from the board? I'm talking about a year out or so.
Also, I welcome other perspectives or ideas. Just trying to get things brewing.

"What good fortune for those of us in power that people do not think. " Hitler - think about that one for a minute.
Why not have one for each geographical area? Volunteers from the areas could help each other organize. Something like: Northeast, southeast, midwest, southwest, northwest. Interest members from those areas could pick a central location in those areas.
Then if the interest is there after a few of those, have a big national one. Right here in Ohio
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?
Yeah, t_bonee has the right idea. There should be regional meets such as Midwest, SouthEast, New England, PNW, and SouthWest. Anything national should probably be as central as possible, perhaps even Sturgis, though not during the Sturgis. The regional events shouldn't be held at the same time so that the more adventurous among us can attend one or more out of our home region. I know I'd be happy to attend a New England or SouthEast meet.
