rear height

#1 Unread post by todostusmuertos »

Hello, I just bought an XVS1100 V star and I've seen a lot of pictures on the internet where the back of the bike has been lower. Is that something you could easily do?
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.

This is just one of many places that have lowering kits.

Your dealer should have the parts. Just google Lowering kits.

Thanks a lot man.
I just didn't know what that was called.
Is that something that I could do myself? I mean, I've never worked on bikes but I'm pretty mechanical though.
I appreciate it.

I don't know if it's something you could personally do or not.
Do you have a lift?
There are others here who could help you with your last question.
