hi

i have a question mark in title as i am unsure. it feels like a fuel problem. any hints with the following would be appreciated

with the throttle open the engine starts cutting in and out untill eventually it stalls. was advised that under load i should run the fuel tap on 'prime' rather than 'on' to ensure valve does not close and starve carbs of fuel (which is apparently a common problem). did this and it still happened.

has been on the dyno and coils are fine
carbs have not been taken off and cleaned but rest of fuel system has

any ideas?

thanks

at what throttle posistion does this happen? It sounds like a jetting problem or an issue with your plugs. it never hurts to clean your carbs once in a while though

throttle maybe half open. hard to pin point - deffinitely not 'just' open or with a fist full. usually under moderate accelleration.

i only recently bought the bike - had a pretty extensive tune and sevice done - think the plugs were done here.

jetting sounds like a possibility

many thanks
