Off topic....But Just Say Thanks

#1 Unread post by Old Hippy »

Just say “THANKS”

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one. If you go to the web site at

http://www.letssaythanks.com

you can pick out a thank you card and the Xerox Corporation will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?

Checking out that site I'd say it isn't spam as it's a free, non-profit site it looks like that is run by Xerox. Now I'm not sure what they do with the email addresses you give them, but I'd guess they are not selling them if it's really Xerox. This is definately are very rare case where a message like this isn't spam.

I think the message and link is fine to release back into the forum. :D

I've seen this before in diffrent forums and i've done it a couple of times, really no big deal. My inbox hasn't been bombarded as of yet so it's probably safe to do.
