VTR250

#1 Unread post by Kal »

I have fallen in lust with the Honda VTR250

This: http://www.ericksenhonda.co.nz/VTR250.JPG

Apparently the model dates from 2000 and is still on sale in AUS and NZ

How do I find one in the UK?

No idea, look among the import section of auto trader etc.

Alternitivaly, have a look at this:

it's a 400, still an import, but somewhat more readily available. It's the honda Bros. might be worth a look - it's kinda similar to the VTR...

Talk to BAT Motorcycles they used to do a lot of imports.

Here is the link for the VTR250 on Honda OZ site.

The list price is around $8000AUD so GBP is 3,280.03.So add 500 quid or so for shipping and you could import a new one.

I think they look great and with 31BHP they would be great if your stuck with the 33bhp limit.Honda should bring these into the UK.As any bike that performs 31BHP Naturaly will ride ten times better than a restricted.

Not sure how old your VTR is Shorts, but this guy is selling a factory manual for the 88-90 models...

Otherwise it might be worthwhile joining the Honda Riders Club of Australia... http://www.hrca.com.au/
