My wife and I just got back from Barber Speedway. We were there for all the practices and qualifying and the races. Friday thru Sunday. First big motorcycle race I've been too. It was great. I talked to Jake Zemke, Mladin, Josh Hayes, and a couple of other guys and got some autographs and pics. Took a bunch of pics of the races and the track.
The formula x, supersport, and superstock were all really good races. The two superbike races were pretty boring. Mladin is killin' people.
Lot of cool spectator bikes, and the most awesome motorcycle museum. They had over 500 bikes on display and a few more hundred to rotate in and out. Lot of free stuff, and even saw that tool Greg White from 2-Wheel Tuesday. He thought he was Mr. Hollywood.
Anyway, I'll definately go back next year. My wife didn't want to go at first, now she's talking about going to the MotoGP and the FIM/AMA races at Laguna Seca.
It was sweet, go to one if you get a chance. It's worth the trip.
