Brake pads - EBC or Ferodo?

#1 Unread post by jonnythan »

The Ferodo platinum are a couple bucks more expensive than the EBC.

Anyone have any comments about either of these?

Thanks.

I have the EBC sintered metal "HH" pads on my Streak (and also had them on my NightHawk). Very powerful pads with good heat dissipation. My advice would be to go with organic on the rear, however, because the sintered metal pads are a bit vague during light braking and can overpower the rear disk very easily during moderate or hard braking.

Thanks. No one seems to make sintered brake pads for my bike. Both are organic.

I went ahead and got the EBC. They're in stock (7-10 days on the Ferodo) and sound OK.

They're more than OK. You should be very pleased with them.
