Got my oil pressure gauge and new seat on

#1 Unread post by vector18 »

I bought a used Corbin Rumble for my wife cause my other seat was killing her butt. This seat is so damn comfortable for the rider and the passenger. If Corbin makes one for your bike, I highly suggest you try one out. I'm just not sure if I like the way it looks or not compared to the low profile seat I use normally. What do you guys think? Also, I had an oil pressure gauge installed today. It's so nice to just look down and see that you have oil pressure. At idle it shows 20lbs and at good throttle it goes up to about 90lbs.

I think all Corbin seats are ugly. They may be comfortable but I would never get one.

I have considered installing an oil pressure gauge but then just figured it was something else to stress about (ie, is the pressure right today?) Ignorace is bliss but then again since you are on your second engine so I dare say it is good peace of mind to keep an eye on it.

nice bike, i don't think you need a oil pressure guage on a Yamaha, thats a bullet proof engine, its better than a Harley, it sounds better than a HD too

Corbin seats are nice. I'd get one for my bike, but I don't feel like spending $300+ for a seat ;)

Well aren't we a bunch of pleasant people this morning. :)

I say right on, more chance of your wife getting a little frisky with you after a long day in the saddle if she's comfortable!

Be lucky it's not close to $700 like it is for my bike.

No offense...but it's ugly. I'm sure it's comfortable, but it just doesn't match with the rest of the bike at all.
