Racer or Trail Rider???

#1 Unread post by icariz83 »

Just wondering what everyone prefers to as what type of riding.

I'm not a ripper, so I like to just hit the trails. However I do try and keep my speed up on the trail and average 20mph.

I guess I must fall into 'racer', cause I have no clue what my average speed is.

I also have no instrumentation to determine it if I wanted too. As fast as I can go without hittin trees..... what's that work out to in MPH?
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Well, I like trail riding..... but not putting, I think I average about 35 mph on trails ( usually 2nd and 3rd gear on my 400) but I also like jumping (small jumps) on my friends ranch, and ripping (3rd and 4th) across his big open pastures....... I have never tried to race MX or anything, its mostly for fun for me, and I usually dont push myself too far (unlike my friend  ) So, I really just went from putting around when I first started, to gradually this, and I am very comfy at the speeds I go now.
