kawasaki zrx1200r seat

hi can anyone help got a kawasaki zrx1200r 03 plate and i cant get the seat off when i turn the key you can hear a click but it will not release is there any over way to get it off the problem started when i put some panion brackets on now cant get under seat to get them off cheers medy
