Bike issues
Alright, so I talked to my bank, got a co-signer and got myself a $3K loan for my bike ('95 Honda CBR 600). When I first even looked at the bike, I saw it had an assembled title, and I asked the shop if that would affect my insurance at all, and they said 'No'. Well, I went to EVERY insurance place in my town and NOBODY will put Comp/Collision on my bike. And having that coverage is a requirement for my loan.
So now I am unsure of what to do. If I asked about insurance issues at the shop and they said 'no' and now I am having problems, what should I be asking of the Honda shop to do? What else are my options? If anyone can offer any help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Shop != insurance company.
You might as well ask your insurance company for advice on which tires to buy.
Sounds like you should just back out of the deal, and see if you can find another bike for the $3k, or cancel the loan.
Sucks, but you learned that just about anyone selling motorcycles/service/parts will lie to you to make the sale or increase the price.
Hope you can get it settled.

Tell them that they misled you into the sale, and that you are unable to get the bike insured, so no deal.GhostRider wrote:Alright, so I talked to my bank, got a co-signer and got myself a $3K loan for my bike ('95 Honda CBR 600). What's the mystery, then? No loan, no bike, right?GhostRider wrote:I went to EVERY insurance place in my town and NOBODY will put Comp/Collision on my bike. And having that coverage is a requirement for my loan.

Sure its because the bike is a rebuild and not just that its a CBR as a first bike?
Yeah, anyway. Speak to the dealer and say that it cannot be insured and therefore cannot be financed. They alreay know that you are serious about buying a bike so see whatelse they have that you can insure.
Maybe the shop has a prefered dealer status with a broker - many dealerships do.
