MCN London Motorcycle Show vs. Ally Pally Bike Show
Friday, October 27, 2006 - Inside Bikes - Insidebikes.com

There are going to be two motorcycle shows in London early next year, battling it out to see who can attract the most visitors and exhibitors.

The MCN London Motorcycle Show, which has been going for some years now at Ally Pally, is re-locating to the Excel venue, near the old Millenium Dome site in the docklands part of the city. The show is shorter in duration than the 2006 event, lasting from 1st-4th February 2007.

Meanwhile, IPC who publish Superbike magazine are launching their own show, called simply The Ally Pally Bike Show, which is scheduled for 26th-28th January 2007.

So the Superbike team will get in there first, but will they be able to fight the marketing power of MCN? It's going to be an interesting winter show season.

By the way, if you live North of Watford there's the Manchester GMEX Motorcycle Show taking place on the 5th-7th January 2007.
