The guys on the vtr250 board posted this - I giggled. Aside from the gear and roadrash thing (obviously), that might get people to notice bikers

Yay for the N.S.W motorcycle council.

I remember them advertising locally for riders interested in being involved in a safety/awareness campaign. Surprisingly, nudity was not mentioned.

That was a subtle dig at the NSW roads and traffic authority. For the last few years there has been a real issue wit motorcyclists and the new E-Tag system used. They are not water-proof and they must be permanently attached to the vehicle, therefore making it difficult for riders to use.
The RTA's response? Deal with it...

That's kinda poopy of them. Sounds like a passive-aggressive way to limit motorcycles altogether by any means possible.

Indeed.

The N.S.W MRA recently organised a protest of sorts by getting hundreds of riders to come together for a ride over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Without E-Tags each rider had to stop at the toll booth, remove a glove, dig in the pocket for change, pay the toll, replace glove and then ride off.
Needless to say there was one hell of a traffic jam wwhilst waiting for all the bikes to pay their way through.
