Motorcyclists rev up collection of 'Toys for Tots'

ABATE Local No.17 is inviting all motorcyclists, car clubs, and anyone who is interested in helping children to its annual "Toys for Tots" motorcycle run on Sunday, Dec. 3.
The event will start with a no-host breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Vacaville Moose Lodge, 6585 Gibson Canyon Road. The group will leave the Moose Lodge at approximately 11:45 and traverse the city streets prior to arriving at the bridge at Carroll Plaza. There, they will be met by representatives of the United States Air Force who will gather the toys for distribution during the Christmas holidays.
The route this year takes the group down Orchard Avenue to Buck Avenue, then to Alamo Drive. From there they will travel down Merchant Street to Lovers Lane, back onto Buck Avenue, and then down Main Street.
