It's time for those Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki owners to get their motorcycles tuned up for the 14th annual Christmas Toy Run, scheduled Sundya, November 26.
With new unwrapped toys in hand, cycle operators each year lead off the annual Willits Christmas Toy Run with a parade from the Evergreen Shopping Center on South Main Street to Little Lake Grange Hall at 291 School Street.
Joining them at the Grange will be everyone who has a gift or food to contribute to the annual event, which helps assure no family of a Willits boy or girl will be forgotten by that red-clad Christmas visitor and his elves.
Cyclists will leave the shopping center at 12:30 p.m. Only admittance to the Toy Run party from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Grange Hall is a new unwrapped toy or two cans of food. There will be dancing to the music of II Big, which is performing this week at Konocti Inn, and hot food and beverage for everyone.
The annual event is sponsored by the Willits Community Services/Food Bank, the Willits Chamber of Commerce, Little Lake Grange and Willits Rotary Club. They invite everyone to come and join them for this event.
All benefit local children.
