Thursday, November 29, 2006 - Honda Press Release

This dashing Honda SH125i has raised money for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
Michael Todd from scooter specialists Chelsea Solutions on the Fulham Road explained: "A friend of my wife and I was very ill with breast cancer, so it’s a charity close to our hearts. We did something similar with a Honda Lead last year and it was a big success. This year we used the superb SH125 as a base for our fund-raising. We sprayed it pink in the livery of the Breast Cancer Campaign organisation, donated it to them and they auctioned it off. It raised £5570, when the retail of the scooter alone is just £2299!"
Michael said that having the scooter in the shop struck a chord with the many female customers that Chelsea Solutions has. He explained: "We had the bike in the shop for a month or two before and after the charity event and our many female customers would spot the scooter and realise what we were doing. We feel this is a very worthy cause. Honda also supports a prostate cancer charity for men, too."
