Motorcycle Enthusiasts Donate To Cancer Research

HAMILTON (AM900 CHML) - The Juravinski Cancer Center has recieved
over 50-thousand dollars in donations.
The money was raised through last June's "Motorcycle Ride For Dad", an annual event that generates funds for prostate cancer research and awareness.
Over 40-thousand was raised by the event's Golden Horseshoe chapter. The other ten thousand has been donated by one of the event's sponsors, Marks Work Warehouse.
Recent statistics suggest that 12-to-15% of Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer.
