Full face fog

Is there a way to stop or minimise fog in a full face when it's cold? I'm still on my bike and ride at night from work. I have to keep my sheild slightly open and my face freezes. Any tips or old school remedies out there?

Install a visor insert such as Pro Grip or Fog City.

Hmm...didn't know they had those...what kind of price tag do those carry. Too high and the old face will have to endure

They are around $25.00 - 30.00.CDN. So it would be less in your $$$.

Personally I prefer the Pro Grip because it worked better fo me, but others prefer the Fog City.

I was just reading about "Cat Crap" heard of that? It's an application. They say It's number one.

The problem with stuff you have to apply, is that you have to keep re-applying.
I haven't tried Cat Krap, but I tried several other so-called anti-fog wipes or liquids and none of them worked.
After I installed the Pro Grip, I never had any fogging problems again.

I think the the solution from blues2cruise is probably the best course of action. But ever though about something that covers your nose and mouth, like a balaclava? It might be enough to keep the humid warm breath from hitting the cold dry visor.

I asked for a balaclava, and a HJC breath box (Same concept, covers mouth and nose seperating the breath away from the visor... attacked to the inside of the helmet) for gifts, so if I by chance do get either one ill be sure to come back and give my 2 cents on them.

I have worn balaclava's and scarves pulled up over the mouth and nose and I still had fogging problems. I found I still had to crack open the visor, but at least with the fleecy stuff on my chin and mouth the cold wind wasn't so harsh.

Goo point about the reapplication dilema. I think I'll check out that pro grip deal. I need to make a move soon. It's only getting colder.

I never tried a balkavacavac deal. I figure I'd have the same problem with fogging. I'm no light breather, got a thing for oxygen
