Police are urging customers who used their credit cards at the International Motorcycle Supershow yesterday to contact their credit companies after a batch of receipts was stolen.
Around 25 receipts were taken from a car belonging to an employee of GP Motorcycle, one of the vendors of the weekend show at the International Centre on Airport Rd. in Mississauga.
The receipts, which contained personal credit card information, may put customers of this vendor at risk, Toronto police said.
The stolen receipts were all from purchases made yesterday.
The 30th anniversary of the motorcycle show allowed visitors a chance to see more than 1,000 bikes, learn about riding clubs and associations, and meet racing champions.
