Need help putting a value on a bike-hope this is right forum

#1 Unread post by fiveliter8 »

Hey all,

I have a maroon 1998 V Star 650 Classic I'm selling that has 3700 miles on it, all stock, in excellent condition except for a few hail dings in the tank. Bluebook shows right around 3,000 dollars retail and the classifieds (traderonline etc) vary from 3200-3800 dollars. I'm just trying to get an idea of what I should ask for it. Would 3200 be about on target considering the mileage or would I be shorting myself? Thanks all,

Alex

put the highest price that has been suggested, so when the buyer(s) try to bring it down, you still make money :D
