Full Exhaust....

#1 Unread post by hi im drummer03 »

What is some thoughts to think on deciding bewteen the two goods and bads?

As in having to add a PCIII or other parts.Difference in performance and sound. Also what do you do for the S.E.T. Valve.

Im looking between a Akprovic or Yoshimura...

What bike you got? Full system does require PC3USB, and should probably get either a drop in filter or pods.

As for the SET (i'm assuming it's like a PAIR valve) go ahead and block it off. And both companies are great choices.

Yup...either would be a good choice & a PCIII will be required with any full system exhaust mod. With the full system & the PCIII you'll see a noticable difference in hp gain no matter which system (any numbers you hear will be debatable anyway - have it dyno'ed after installation & then you'll know). The rest is all personal taste (sound - looks). Might depend, like the man said, on what bike you got.
Personally, I got a Kawi ZX-6R; 2006 (undertail exhaust) & went with Akra. Didn't like how far the Yosh can sticks out beyond the tail of the bike and perferred the sound of the Akra as well but; that's all personal taste - get what you like & you'll be happy. dono about the SET issue.
