Suzuki GS500F fairing question

Here's a simple question; with the fairings removed, is the GS500F the exact same bike as the base GS500?

Aside from some brackets and headlight, yes the F is the exact same as the E model. Same handle bars, pegs, engine, seat, sitting position everything is the exact same.
