Sell that bike, take the MSF beginner's riding course, buy a small-displacement newbie-approved bike.jamie wrote:any other tips on how to stay alive.....

The MSF will teach you how to ride. We can give you a general idea over the internet, but we're more likely to make you hurt yourself then teach you anything.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

This is a joke, right? If you're serious, the bike you have is designed for motorcyclists with years of experience. they are made for track days and they happen to be street legal. Starting on one is a quick ticket to your SO cashing in on your life insurance.jamie wrote:is this bike prone to problems like why should i sell it it looks nice, is it a slow bike or what...

I was thinking the same thing, this must be a joke. If you really think you are going to "learn" on a ZX7R then you are either a complete idiot, or so naive you are a danger to yourself and others. If you really don't know how to corner after supposedly riding a CR, just stop at the apex to the corner and push the bike untill the straight part is in front of you, then proceed...fool.
And we "RIDE" motorcycles, putz's like you "DRIVE" cars...barely
