My new toy!
I just got a 1971 CL450. It runs great, leaks some oil while running (I think forn the clutch). I have on the way a set of gaskets to rebuild the engine. I was thinking to go ahead and get new pistons and get the motor rectify if I was going to take the motor apart to change the gaskets. do you have any tips? or opinions? really anything will help.
thanks
P.S. sorry I still dont know how to post pictures

Hold off ordering those pistons Doc. If your going to tear it down you may find that the stock size piston is the one you need. If you order a set of .010 over pistons when you tear it down and find .020 over pistons in it already, you won't be happy.

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Are they on your computer? or online? You'll need to upload them to a photo sharing site, like photobucket or whatever. Then use the url they give you to post it and share it here! Oh, and happy bike day!
