Laid down bike =(

#1 Unread post by jigrah »

Earlier today I laid down my bike, I was going from a stop into a turn and I had my bike down pretty low when the back tire started sliding and then I started bouncing. I am pretty alright but my bike isnt, I looked it over and the clutch lever is broken and the whole left side of the handle bar is bent. From the looks of it the steering colume is alright and not messed up, so I think I only need to replace that left side.

If I have the parts I am sure I could take care of it, thing is I have no idea how to get parts. So I am looking for advice on where I can buy parts for my bike, how to look up the parts number and all that good stuff. Thanks in advance, Peace.

Glad you're alright.

What bike do you have? That would probably help.
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

Bikebandit.com is a great place to look up and buy OEM parts. eBay is a great place as well. Most anything you could want to find there.

For aftermarket parts also look at JCWhitney.com and JPCycles.com

A local dealership could get parts for you as well.
