got my learners today
i know this is not the order you guys around here like... but i'm pretty stinkin' excited. i fully expected to have to take it a few times. only missed two questions on the test. and in NC a learners means i can ride day or night throughout the whole state just as long as i don't have a passenger.
now it's on to getting gear. i go and pick up my free bike on saturday. and hopefully i get taught a few things in the process.
anyway, just thought i'd share.

Re: got my learners today
There are reasons for that including that many things on a motorcycle, like turning are counter intuitive and the majority of motorcycle fatalities happening in curves for starters. The MSF course is recommended, at the very least read proficient motorcycling and get another rider to help you out. That isn't nearly as good as the MSF course but it may keep you from getting killed.dean owens wrote:i know this is not the order you guys around here like...

in north carolina you need to take the written test, even if you successfully complete the msf course. he just took the written test first. if/when he does decide to take an msf course, he's already got that behind him.ofblong wrote:learners permit = the long hard way to a full liscence.
MSF cours = the quick easy way (while learning safety and the proper tec's) to a full liscence.
