I think that when I mash my brake pedal, the taillight should activate. However, mine does not. I recently replaced the brake pedal and exhaust. There was this little spring left over(lol). No, really I know where it attaches to the pedal. but I never could figure out what and where it attaches. Now, I believe that it attaches to the rear brake light switch which I located by reading the service manual. I just can't find where this spring is supposed to attach. I really think that it attaches somewhere on this light switch.

Please help.

Most of the switches I've seen have a loop off some sort in the bottom. The spring attaches to the loop and pulls down to activate the switch.
