Motorcycle Gear Acceptable Colors

#1 Unread post by Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R »

I know that bright colors are the way to go for gear, but what about silver?
My dream bike, the Ducati 1098.

Well, I had the impression that all the cool dudes on cruisers wore black stuff. My mrs said if I don't get a bright helmet, she'll make me put a flashing orange beacon on it. Consequently my helmet is red.

Wear whatever you want to wear. If you're super paranoid about not being seen on the road, just toss a reflective strip somewhere.

my jacket is silver and black with reflective piping and three reflective patches on it. It lights up decently at night. I've considered the reflective tape though... I wonder if that TMW vynil i have is reflective, may be going on the helmet...

Are you asking if it is fashionable or if it is visible?

Doesn't matter. If you are going to not be seen, you are going too fast or they just can't see past the steering wheel anyhow. Be safe.[/img]
