WR450F, KTM450EXC, or CRF450X?
WR450F, KTM450EXC, or CRF450X?
I am an experienced rider, i love to ride in dirt, on tracks, and jumps. I am looking at getting a 450 that can take the pounding of big jumps and harsh trails, but also can be good on the road because i would like to put lights on it so that it can be street legal. Also wondering if all of these bikes can be make street legal in Wisconsin....thanks.

I'm not sure about your local laws, but I doubt you can register and insure a dirtbike for the road anymore. You used to be able to do it, after you jumped through enough hoops, but all that's changed in the last few years (thank California).
The good news is, there may be no need. KTM makes a completely legal version of the EXC 450 or 530 for sale in Europe and they are most likely coming to N.A., if they aren't here already.
Husky already has their road legal dirtbikes available, and they are real, live, honest-to-goodness dirtbikes with lights and plates, not dual-sports, just like the KTM's.

California Green Sticker is for off-road only, it has no bearing at all on street legality.
I seriously considered making a CR-500 street legal a few years ago. The legal forms and fees and permission's and exemptions and government apathy/stupidity were enough to discourage me here in Alberta. I don't know what you will find to be the case in your area.
